Here are a few of the posters created between 1995 and 1999 for AFWFA’s campaign to deprogram the American work ethic. Drawn with Sharpie pens and printed at Kinko’s, this was (and remains) a low-tech, black and white movement. Vocalizing our belief that all people are artists of some kind, it seamed fitting that the illustrations were crude and “unprofessional” no matter how many times I re-drew them. Art can be a humbling experience. If you see anything you like, feel free to print, copy or distribute — after all it is propaganda.
